Angie has been coaching volleyball off and on for the past 16 years. She began as the JV Coach at Union High School in 2009 and became the Varsity Coach the following year. She continued as the Varsity Coach for the next 6 years. During this time, she helped develop the Junior Ladycats Volleyball program to give girls in 4th, 5th and 6th grade an opportunity to play and learn about volleyball at an earlier age and to build a stronger program for Union. She and her husband coached a season with Four Rivers Volleyball Club and Angie has spent the last 3 years coaching her daughter through the Junior Volleyball program she helped to create. She is ready to jump back into the Club scene and share the knowledge she has gained over the past 14 years. She has a true passion for everything Volleyball related from coaching to playing to reffing and anything to stay connected to the sport. She has been playing since the age of 11 through Club Volleyball, High School and College. Her other passion is children. As a social worker for the past 23 years she has a devotion to the youth/children of the Franklin County area. This will be Angie’s 3rd season with FC United.
