Janel has been coaching volleyball for 20+ years. She began her coaching career in 2003 as the freshman coach at Pacific High School. In 2009 Janel became the head coach at Pacific High School where she held that position until 2016 when it was time to just be a mom. In 2018, Janel got back into coaching as the 7th grade coach at Riverbend Middle School. Janel played volleyball in middle school and high school. She really believes in teaching the basics of volleyball and building a strong foundation of the fundamentals to help form a strong volleyball player. Janel likes to work her teams hard in practice and have them hustle during every drill, so the games are easy and fun.
